The first season of excavations (2005) revealed part of a monumental area located on the upper part of the hilltop village. Inside this area was excavated a church with two phases, one of the Carolingian age and the second related with the 11th century AD. Next to the church during 12th century AD was built a tower and a cistern. On the eastern part of the plateau is located the second area of excavations: this area, characterized by a lot of postholes (more than thirty) and two pits, is interpreted as a metallurgical area used between last 10th AD and 12th AD.
